Allison Donnelly grew up in Kentucky on the Ohio River where industry and nature collide. Her work explores the beauty of our existence while here on earth. She is drawn to shooting people, plants and the land - and the interconnectedness and pleasures we share. She shoots in studio and on site, digital and film. Capturing nature has also led Ali to floral design. She frequently brings the colors and textures of plants and her compositions back into photography.
Her work has appeared in The New Yorker and Rolling Stone online, PHOTOVOGUE - a photography platform curated by the photo editors of Vogue Italia, The Cut Flower Quarterly and Incandescent Film Zine.
